Builders Information

DGVR #7094 was built by General Motors in La Grange, Illinois, in December 1950 as an F7A for the Milwaukee Road. Following years of mixed-use service on the Milwaukee Road, the locomotive passed between various owners and railroads before eventually being sold to the DGVR, which painted the locomotive in its current striking Chesapeake & Ohio Railway livery.
