Join us on November 8th and 9th for the Titans of Logging Photography Weekend.
This event will feature Shay and Heisler locomotives pulling vintage freight trains throughout the weekend. Attendees will have the opportunity to capture photos and video recordings from remote, scenic locations along the Cass Scenic Railroad and Greenbrier River lines. Night photography session included!
- Day 1 will follow the Cass to Durbin line. The photo train will include a mix of freight cars and a caboose. Stops at farms and scenic river locations will be made along the way. After dark, a traditional night photo session will follow.
- Day 2 will follow the Cass line to Whittaker Station. The photo train will include log cars. The day will begin with runbys in Cass, we will then make our way up the mountain to Whittaker Station with multiple stops along the way.
This trip has a moderate physical level with stops on hillsides and short hikes over rough terrain.
Ticket price does not include accommodations or transportation. A bagged lunch will be provided.

If notice of cancellation is made more than 2 weeks in advance of departure date, we will be able to issue you an 85% monetary refund (booking fees are non-refundable). If cancellation is requested within 2 weeks of your departure date, full price will be charged with no monetary refund available, though we would be able to reschedule your booking for another date in the current season (if available) or issue you a gift card for the full amount paid (minus booking fees) that will be good as payment towards a future booking and will not expire. If you paid with a credit card, self-cancellation is available via the “View Online” link above.
