Join us Friday, January 16th for the first ever Winter Photography Special to Durbin!
We’ll make multiple photo stops along the 15-mile route, taking advantage of locations only possible with a small group. This event is limited to just 13 passengers.
Shay No. 5 is planned to lead the train, featuring log cars and a caboose for riders. Please note: restrooms are available at Cass before departure and again during our lunch break in Durbin. They will not be available onboard the train.
Roads into Pocahontas County are generally well treated during winter, but please travel with caution.
This trip has a moderate physical level with stops on hillsides and short hikes over rough, snowy terrain.
Lunch will be provided in Durbin.
Ticket price does not include accommodations or transportation.

If notice of cancellation is made more than 2 weeks in advance of departure date, we will be able to issue you an 85% monetary refund (booking fees are non-refundable). If cancellation is requested within 2 weeks of your departure date, full price will be charged with no monetary refund available, though we would be able to reschedule your booking for another date in the current season (if available) or issue you a gift card for the full amount paid (minus booking fees) that will be good as payment towards a future booking and will not expire. If you paid with a credit card, self-cancellation is available via the “View Online” link above.
